How To Measure
Sew Synchro offers appointments for local individual and clubs to get their measurements taken by staff. There is a fee for travel if you'd like us to come to you (mid-Island limitations). If you are unable to have us take your measurements, you are responsible for providing them for us to work from. *NOTE: Sew Synchro is NOT responsible if measurements are not accurate when submitted and not taken by Sew Synchro staff.
To Take Your Own Measurements:
Wear form-fitting clothes (or even a swimsuit!) and have someone else take your measurements for best accuracy. Measuring tape should be held taut and sit ON the body but not squeeze or squish the body. Make sure when going around any body parts, that the tape stay level all the way around. Though swimsuits can be forgiving because they stretch, it is advised to make sure and take accurate measurements for the best fit.
Start with the Standard Measurements - these are needed for ALL suits, custom orders as well as suits for sale in Shop Now that are made to our Standard Sizing charts. Continue down the page to see the Extra Measurements which may be required for custom work (most often only a couple of these are needed depending on the style of the suit chosen) Sew Synchro will let you know during the Consultation stage which ones you will need.
